Lin Zhang-Freund

Lin Zhang Freund received her Bachelor in Conservation, from the University of Göteborg, Sweden. For more than 10 years, she has worked as a paper conservator at the National Museum of World Culture, primarily at the Museum of the Far Eastern Antiquities and the Museum of Ethnography.

Lin Zhang Freund now runs her own business, Lin’s Paper Studio ( Lins pappersverkstad). In addition to her Swedish education in Conservation, Lin has specialized in Asian paper conservation. Amongst other training, she has pursued studies at the Palace Museums of Pekin and Taipei, as well as at the Tokyo National Research Institute for Culture Properties. Since 1985, Lin Zhang Freund is an amateur bookbinder.
