bokbindarkompetens.se is a Nordic network of bookbinders and contemporaries, such as graphic designers, artists, calligraphists and paper marblers.

bokbindarkompetens.se is run by bookbinder, Helene Jouper, with the aim to organize training courses and workshops on pertinent and current themes in the field. The training is carried out professionally, with bookbindery always as the main topic.

The network gives access to high quality education and is open to suggestions of topics of interest to the bookbinding community. In addition, instructors and/or owners of suitable locations have the possibility of organizing their own workshops, under the administration of bokbindarkompetens.se.

On the whole, the courses are offered in one of the Scandinavian languages, as well as, most are given in English.
